About Chippy Irvine


Chippy Irvine enjoyed a first career as a successful New York fashion designer, but has enjoyed a second career as a writer. Since 1986 she has had thirteen books published, the latest being SHADES OF COUNTRY 2006. She writes articles for various magazines - on subjects from diamonds to art-by-the homeless, and lectures on subjects related to the visual arts. Chippy has appeared on television on the Christopher Lowell Show. In addition she loves music, having written several musicals, from ones privately performed in the garden, to a fashion industrial produced in New York. She has sung with choirs - from the All Angels Gospel Singers in Manhattan to the Putnam Chorale in New York State.
